Who We Are
Simple Reverse Mortgage Solutions is a family owned mortgage company with over ten years of origination and operations experience in reverse mortgages and fifteen years in mortgage banking experience. As a result of devoting ourselves exclusively to reverse mortgages, our clients benefit from the expertise and high level of customer service provided to each and every borrower.
An integral part of our business practice is to provide a hands-on approach to every aspect of the client’s loan process through to the closing of the loan. Our President, Herb Hofvendahl, has spoken at four of the largest Sons in Retirement (SIRS) Chapters in the San Francisco bay area and has received several distinguished awards for his speaking engagements. Herb spends a significant amount of time each week meeting one-on-one with seniors as well as giving presentations to churches, social service agencies and to adult children of seniors. Herb is a specialist in reverse mortgages. Herb's also a certified member of the American Society on Aging.
Herb’s passion, patience, commitment and concern for seniors are second nature to him. Herb prides himself and his business on his personal and individualized care for each client. He has found reverse mortgages as the most fulfilling part of his career. Herb understands and values the contributions made by our seniors.
For the past fourteen years, Herb Hofvendahl has volunteered his time for numerous senior citizen activities and events. His experience over the years has been rewarding for him and his senior clients. In 2006, he joined the Orinda Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors.
